Ross Perot Jr. 
Chairman


Perot, Chairman of Hillwood International Energy, brings a wealth of experience involving high-profile projects and public-private ventures that bring tremendous value to customers and partners. He is also Chairman of Hillwood Development Company LLC which he founded in 1988. Separately, Perot is Chairman of the Board of Perot Systems Corporation, a multi-billion dollar global technology company that provides business consulting, business process outsourcing, applications solutions and IT infrastructure services to companies in a wide variety of industries.   
                                                                               

 

Jerry Fullinwider
Vice Chairman

Fullinwider enjoys a long career in the petroleum industry including the founding of VF-Petroleum, Inc., an independent energy producer with operations in the US and Canada. He later formed VF-Russia, Inc. in 1989 to pursue oil exploration and development in Russia.  Fullinwider was founder of BaiTex LLC, the Russian company that operated and developed the Baituganskoye oil field in southern Russia. 

 

 

Trem Smith
President and CEO

 Before joining Hillwood, Smith served in senior management positions for Chevron Corporation throughout the world. As President of Chevron Russia, he developed and maintained long-term relationships with the Russian Presidential Administration and the Russian Federation government. He also led business development, exploration, and development efforts in south and southeast Asia, Russia and the United States.  He served as Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Moscow.  He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and has a PhD in Economic Geology from the Pennsylvania State University.

 

 

Mark Rollins
Vice President, Business Development

Rollins manages Hillwood's commercial business and its US gas business and mineral portfolio. Before joining the company, Rollins served as managing director of PetroGrowth Advisors, a boutique investment bank / private equity firm focused on the energy business. He additionally served as senior manager for KPMG Consulting where he was responsible for consulting business with energy clients in West Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia and the US. His experience also includes senior management for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting - Energy Strategy Practice.

 

 

Steve Berger
Chief Financial Officer

Before joining Hillwood, Berger was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Based in Moscow, Russia, he led PwC’s Transactions and Corporate Finance practice for Russia and Central/Eastern Europe. In that capacity he assisted Russian and multinational clients with mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, finance raising, and the development of large infrastructure projects. His experience in Russia includes work on several high-profile energy transactions. 

 

 

Shelby Bush
Vice President, Legal and Administration

Bush oversees the legal aspects of the operations. He was formerly Vice President and General Counsel of an affiliated, US-based entity that operated the Baituganskoye oil field. Serving in such capacity, he oversaw all legal aspects of both US and Russian operations and coordinated with Russian legal counsel on issues specific to the Russian Federation.

 

 

Dudley McDaniel
Chief Operating Officer

Dudley McDaniel has more than 30 years of global operations experience in numerous locations including Nigeria, Angola, Kuwait, Thailand and the United States.  He brings significant work experience in both the offshore and onshore in the areas of petroleum and facilities engineering, safety, the environment as well as operations.  His experiences with Chevron and Gulf Oil include management of mature and developing fields as well as leading start up efforts in Thailand.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering with a specialization in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M and is a member of SPE.

 

Mark_Jackson

Mark Jackson
Drilling Manager

Prior to Hillwood, Jackson managed drilling, completion and workover projects in Russia for TNK-BP and directed wellsite supervision services for TNK in Moscow. Internationally, he also managed drilling projects in China and Africa. His diverse US/global experience combines engineering and operations management with extensive onsite supervision of both onshore and offshore projects.

 

 

George Mattingly
Country Manager - Russia / Iraq

Mattingly brings 22 years of international experience with Chevron in Africa, Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and Russia to Hillwood. During this time, he worked extensively with government and industry representatives from foreign countries to capture and then execute programmes on various concessions. He has led international multi-disciplinary teams in the identification, capture and execution of opportunities and mentoring national staff.
