Hillwood International Energy represents the joining of two oil companies and their respective management and technical staffs: Hillwood Energy, founded by Ross Perot, Jr., with its history and expertise in several domestic US plays, including its ongoing leadership in the Barnett Shale play in North Central Texas, and VF-Russia Inc., founded by Jerry Fullinwider, with its 16-year history in the international arena, particularly its successful development of the Baituganskoye oil field in the Volga Urals Basin of Russia.

With more than 200 years combined expereince in global energy exploration, development and operations, our world-class team embodies the strengths of Hillwood and its core values. This experience enables us to select and apply the latest technology appropriate to each of our operations. In 2007, Hillwood will drill more than 30 wells, including 8 wildcat exploration wells. Further development drilling is expected with discoveries.
